Message from the leadership team of the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science

This is a message from the leadership team of the Australian National University College of Engineering and Computer Science. We have all been university students and we have taken on our leadership roles because of our collective belief that a good university experience can transform lives and societies.

We want to acknowledge the courage and strength of the people who have told their stories of sexual harassment and sexual assault to the Human Rights Commission.  We want to thank those who have supported the survivors of sexual harassment and sexual assault at universities, whichever university that might have been. 

These are hard stories to hear.  We should have been better listeners and we are sorry that it took a national survey for us to start this conversation.
