Segmenting small lesions in brain is very important as it can help medicals with early diagnosis of their elderly patients. In this research project, the student will learn more about how to perform pre-processing on medical images (MRI), and apply deep learning the state-of-the-art algorithms to segment MRI images and improve the results.
