Medal-winning scholar takes machine learning to new heights

Edmund Hofflin had just climbed one of the highest peaks on the Larapinta Trail when he learned of his University Medal. A speech impediment in his youth and a serious illness in his second year at ANU may have slowed his climb, but now he's on top of the world.
